1. Who we are

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are between you and Finders Feed Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

Company name: Finders Feed Ltd
Company number: 17164124
ICO registration: ZC140712
Registered office: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX
Contact email: contact@findersfeed.co.uk

In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" refers to Finders Feed Ltd. "You" and "your" refers to the business that has subscribed to our service.

2. The service

Finders Feed monitors the UK Companies House register for newly registered businesses and delivers curated email alerts based on the business types and postcode areas you select.

The data we provide is sourced from Companies House under the Open Government Licence v3.0. We take reasonable steps to pass this data on accurately, but we do not independently verify it. The data is provided as-is, and we make no guarantees as to its completeness or accuracy. You should independently verify any company details before relying on them for business decisions.

Our service does not include contact details (phone numbers, email addresses or individual contact names) for the companies listed in alerts. It is an alerting service, not a contact database.

3. Eligibility

To sign up for Finders Feed, you must:

By signing up you confirm that all of the above are true. If any of these stop being true, you must stop using the service and tell us.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, tell us immediately at contact@findersfeed.co.uk.

You may not share your login with anyone else or allow multiple people to use the same account. Each subscription is for a single user. If you need access for a team, please contact us about our Agency plan or a custom arrangement.

5. Subscriptions and payment

5.1 Plans and pricing

We offer three subscription tiers: Starter (£15/month), Standard (£25/month) and Professional (£39/month). Each plan is also available on an annual billing basis at a 20% discount. Features of each tier are described on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time.

5.2 Free trial

New subscribers are entitled to a 7-day free trial. You must provide payment details at signup to start the trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your selected subscription will begin automatically and you will be charged the applicable monthly or annual fee depending on the billing period you selected.

5.3 Billing

Subscriptions are billed either monthly or annually in advance through Stripe, our payment processor. Annual subscriptions are charged as a single upfront payment at a 20% discount compared to the monthly rate. All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and exclude VAT where applicable.

5.4 Price changes

We may change our subscription prices from time to time. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change takes effect. If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect.

5.5 Late or failed payments

If a payment fails, we will attempt to take payment again. If we are unable to take payment after reasonable attempts, we may suspend or terminate your access to the service.

6. Cancellation and refunds

6.1 Cancelling during the free trial

You can cancel at any time during your 7-day free trial. If you cancel during the trial, your access to the service will end immediately and you will not be charged.

6.2 Cancelling a paid subscription

You can cancel your paid subscription at any time from your dashboard. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will continue to have access to the service until that date. We do not provide refunds for partial months.

6.3 Unsubscribing via email link

If you click the unsubscribe link in one of your alert emails, your subscription will be cancelled immediately regardless of where you are in your billing period. Your alert emails will stop straight away. You will not be charged again. Please note that unsubscribing via this method does not entitle you to a refund for any unused portion of your current billing period. If you cancel from your account page instead, your access continues until the end of your billing period.

6.4 Annual subscriptions — renewal and refunds

If you are on an annual subscription, we will send you a reminder email 7 days before your renewal date. Your subscription will renew automatically unless you cancel beforehand from your account page.

If your annual subscription has already renewed and you have changed your mind, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the renewal charge by emailing contact@findersfeed.co.uk. Refund requests received after 7 days of the renewal date will not be accepted.

6.5 No right of withdrawal after service begins

As our service is a digital subscription supplied immediately upon sign-up (after the trial period), and because you are signing up as a business, you acknowledge that statutory consumer withdrawal rights do not apply.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Breach of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

8. Data protection

We take your privacy seriously. How we collect, use, store and share your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

You are responsible for your own compliance with UK data protection law when you use our alerts to contact the businesses listed. We do not guarantee that any company on our alerts will welcome marketing or commercial approaches.

9. Service availability

We aim to make Finders Feed available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may need to pause or restrict access to the service for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons outside our control. We will try to give notice of any planned downtime where practical.

We do not offer a service level agreement (SLA) or any specific uptime guarantee at this stage.

10. Intellectual property

The Finders Feed platform, branding, code, design and content (excluding the underlying Companies House data which is publicly available) are owned by us or licensed to us. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any of that to you.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your own internal business purposes during your subscription. You may use the data we deliver to you for your own legitimate business activity (such as identifying sales prospects), subject to the restrictions in section 7.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to the above:

You acknowledge that our alerts are based on publicly available data and you use them at your own business risk.

12. Termination by us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without refund, if:

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Minor changes (such as clarifying wording or correcting typos) will be posted here without prior notice. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the Terms were most recently revised. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.

14. Other important bits

14.1 Assignment

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to anyone else without our prior written consent. We may transfer ours to any successor business.

14.2 Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us relating to the service. They replace any earlier agreement, representation or understanding.

14.3 No waiver

If we do not enforce a right or provision of these Terms on any occasion, that does not mean we have waived it.

14.4 Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will continue to apply.

14.5 Third party rights

A person who is not a party to these Terms has no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of these Terms.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

16. Data storage and retention

Finders Feed stores company matches in your account history up to the following limits, depending on your plan: Starter — 3,500 records; Standard — 7,000 records; Professional — 30,000 records.

When your storage limit is reached, new matches will stop being saved to your history. Your alert emails will continue to arrive as normal. To resume saving new matches, you will need to clear some records from your past alerts page.

You are responsible for downloading and retaining any data you wish to keep. We will notify you by email as you approach your storage limit and again when it is reached. Finders Feed is not liable for any loss of data resulting from you clearing your history, failing to download your data before cancelling, or your account becoming inactive.

We recommend downloading your data as a CSV file regularly, particularly before making any changes to your account.

17. Contact us

If you have any questions about these Terms, please email us at contact@findersfeed.co.uk or write to us at the registered office address above.
